Police Droid

The Police Droid is a exercise I did for fun and to re-familiarize my self with XSI. The droid design is based of a toy that I purchased from a hobby store but I used a colour scheme similar to that of the local police dept. I shot the footage on Christmas day at a office complex in Richmond Hill and later tracked it in PFTrack. I also took some HDRI maps off a reflection ball at the same time, these were later stitched in HDRShop and used for lighting and reflections. The Droid was then modeled, uv-ed, shaded, rigging, and animated in XSI. Texturing was done in Photoshop, Rendering was done with Mental Ray and compositing was done in Nuke.

Although I like how it turned out overall, I hope to revisit it soon and updated some areas that still bug me.
